The scriptwriter of the film is Sergei Tsymbalenko, a well-known journalist, writer, president of the creative association YNPRESS, director - Ilya Belostotsky, member of the Guild of Russian Filmmakers, director of photography Taisiya Spektor and cameramen Nikita Anisimov, Gleb Ermakov are students of the camera department of VGIK. The young actors were 12-14 years old, the cameramen and other employees of the film group were 13-16 years old. The educational effect of the Lord of the Flies content is greatly enhanced by intergenerational interactions during the preparation and shooting of the film. The protagonist encounters oppression and bullying at school and takes everyone to a desert island, like the characters of the book by William Golding. In order not to repeat the existing film adaptations and theatrical productions of Lord of the Flies and to get away from real scenes of cruelty, the script takes place in the imagination of today’s schoolboy. However, at the same time, the participants in the filming acted together, collectively, in a comradely manner, were in contrast to what was happening in the work. The project invites children to immerse themselves in a problematic situation by participating in the filming of the Lord of the Flies based on the work of the same name by William Golding, to feel the characters of this story about enmity and violence from within.
